Literacy & Language Arts

The Literacy and Language Arts Department strives to cultivate a love for reading and writing, empowering students to become articulate, critical thinkers and lifelong learners. We believe that literacy is not just a skill but a vital tool for personal and academic growth. The department includes English as a Second Language, English Language Arts and Spanish Language Arts classes.

We aim to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where all students can develop their literacy skills. Our mission is to foster a deep understanding of various texts, encourage creative expression, and promote critical analysis of diverse perspectives.
